Albstadt, Germany: On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, Groz-Beckert’s training department welcomed 21 young people who are beginning their apprenticeships or study programs at the company.

Among the new apprentices and students are nine industrial mechanics, three mechatronics engineers, one industrial business administrator, two IT specialists, two dual students majoring in Industrial Business Administration, one dual student majoring in Business Informatics with a focus on data science, as well as two students in a combined mechanical engineering program and one student in a combined program in Technical Informatics.

On their first day of work, the new apprentices and students received information about their training or study programs at Groz-Beckert. They also had the opportunity to meet other apprentices and students in their class. During the rest of the first week, they will join their respective departments or begin working in the training center.

Traditionally, the new class of trainees and students travels to the Abrahamshof in Wolfach in the Black Forest during the second week. Groz-Beckert has been organizing this social-educational seminar for new trainees and students for over four decades. The focus is on team building and learning about the company.
