With our three business units, we are a global market leader in the development, manufacture and sale of process-critical textile precision tools and industrial cutting solutions, as well as a solution provider for textile construction and high-performance fibers. We therefore act as a partner for sustainable value creation in a wide range of industries.

Our headquarters are in Albstadt, Baden-Württemberg (Germany). We also have further production plants in Europe, Asia and North America. With our sales affiliates and sales partners, we guarantee a global presence for our customers and are positioned closely to the specific requirements of our partners in different markets around the world.

Groz-Beckert in numbers

Founded in 1852, Groz-Beckert remains in family hands. The group employs around 9,500 people and turned over 880 million euros in 2023. Many production and sales affiliates and trading partners give Groz-Beckert a worldwide presence in more than 150 countries around the globe.

Turnover

In fiscal year 2023, group turnover increased by 66 million euros (+ around 8%) to 880 million euros according to preliminary figures. The growth in turnover is attributable to the additional sales of the TKM Group, which forms the business unit Cutting Tools.

Employees worldwide

On record date December 31, 2023, the Groz-Beckert Group employed 9,595 employees worldwide.

At the end of 2023 there were 5,864 persons working at the group in Europe. 3,584 persons were employed in Asia and 147 in North America.
