Albstadt: On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, Eric Schöller, CEO of Groz-Beckert, officially bid farewell to 19 young professionals upon the completion of their apprenticeships. In addition, six graduates received an award.

Twelve apprentices and seven students will complete their apprenticeships or studies at Groz-Beckert in the summer of 2026. Five industrial mechanics, one metal technology specialist, three IT specialists and three industrial business administrators each completed a traditional apprenticeship at Groz-Beckert. The young professionals’ performance at vocational school is particularly encouraging. A total of two awards and four commendations were presented for outstanding academic achievements.

The company also bid farewell to two dual students majoring in Industrial Business Administration and one dual student each in Business Informatics and Electrical Engineering/Automation, whose studies officially end in September. In addition, two students completed a combined degree program in mechanical engineering. A textile scholarship recipient is also in the final phase of their studies.

Of the 19 graduates in total, Groz-Beckert is hiring six young people on permanent contracts and eleven on temporary contracts. Two people are leaving the company.

After the official ceremony, the graduates gathered in the courtyard together with their trainers, training coordinators, and school representatives.
