Audited 2025 Financial Statements: Groz-Beckert Group’s turnover amount to 799 million euros
Albstadt: The Groz-Beckert Group’s financial statements for 2025 show consolidated turnover of 799 million euros, thereby confirming the preliminary figures published in February. Compared to 2024, turnover fell by 40 million euros, or about 5 percent. As of the end of 2025, Groz-Beckert employed 8,823 people worldwide (previous year: 9,419), including 1,995 at its headquarters in Albstadt (previous year: 2,194).
Ongoing crises, additional pressures on global trade, and weak consumer and investment demand characterized the economic environment in 2025. The high level of uncertainty seen in previous years persisted. Business performance fell short of expectations in all three business segments.
Textile Tools Business Unit
In the core Textile Tools business unit—by far the Group’s largest—sales fell by just under 7 percent compared to 2024. Structural changes in the textile industry weighed on business. In particular, the increasing shift of markets and value chains to Asia—especially to China—intensified competitive and pricing pressures.
Cutting Tools Business Unit
In the Cutting Tools business unit turnover in 2025 rose by 4.3 percent compared to the previous year. The increase in turnover was attributable exclusively to an acquisition. Demand in European markets remained subdued, while business in North and South America developed satisfactorily.
Engineered Textiles Business Unit
Turnover for Engineered Textiles in 2025 remained at the previous year’s level. Declines in the traditional construction business were offset by stable industrial sales in the composites segment. The original targets were not met.
Outlook for 2026
The market environment remained challenging in the first half of 2026. For the full year, Groz-Beckert currently expects consolidated turnover to be on par with 2025 levels.
